Ben Graham Centre for Value Investing: How to Assess Management

Jamie Lowry, Managing Director of UK based Hamblin Watsa Investment Council, was the Keynote Speaker at the Ben Graham Centre’s 4th European Value Investing Conference where he provided a deep dive into to topic “The Management of Value”.

It provides a deep dive into the good (and not so good) decisions made by the management team at the italian car maker Fiat Group and how this example can be used to assess management in general. Jamie also cover the challenging question of how much emphasis to put on the management team versus business quality and price when assessing an investment.
