Kurt Kara: We bought Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway

In its August update, Kurt Kara and the team behind their Value Stocks fund give an update especially on the US and Chinese economies. There is a particular focus on interest rates in the US and the housing market in China, both of which have given rise to uncertainty in the markets.

In relation to the portfolio, they have sold one company from August and added one:

We chose to sell off the company [Activition Blizzard] as we considered the price potential to be closely fulfilled and Berkshire Hathaway in our opinion had a more attractive business model in the long term.
