Nykredit: Danish companies make a very positive impression after the Q2 results

Nykredit’s Chief Portfolio Manager, Hans Kjær, gives his overall analysis of Danish companies after Q2 2023. He sees many positive trends, but must also say that there is great uncertainty in the equity markets as we look into 2024.

One of the sectors he specifically highlights is the banking sector, which is currently benefiting from interest rate hikes while also incurring low loan losses.

Finally, he cannot avoid commenting on Denmark’s Novo Nordisk, which has a very large growth in sales and earnings.

That is a very positive impression we have in the first place. Not only for earnings in the first half of the year, but also for the expectations that account for the remainder of the year.
